Our Story

In 1949, our grandparents, James and Alice Russell, laid the foundation for what would become a lasting family legacy - establishing a small livestock farm in Midland, North Carolina. Their dedication to the land and traditional farming practices has been passed down through three generations, deeply shaping who we are today.

 

In honor of their memory and commitment, Sowing Seeds Russell Farm continues as a tribute to their late grandson, Curness Russell, who revived the family business in 2018. This farm stands as a symbol of perseverance, tradition, and the enduring values that James and Alice Russell instilled in us, carried forward by the Russell cousins.
